Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.19%.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Airlines Catering Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 4.28% or 4.60 points to trade at 112.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Dawaa Medical Services Co (TADAWUL:) added 4.19% or 3.90 points to end at 96.90 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 4.14% or 4.40 points to 110.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 4.21% or 6.40 points to trade at 145.60 at the close. Tanmiah Food Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:) declined 3.74% or 4.00 points to end at 103.00 and Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 3.47% or 28.80 points to 802.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 172 to 93 and 16 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.16% or 0.13 to $79.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.11% or 0.09 to hit $83.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.56% or 10.85 to trade at $1,957.65 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was up 0.23% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 103.83.
