To celebrate the midseason of Ahsoka, fans will be able to attend a limited theatrical release of Episode 5 next week.
The latest Star Wars show will still air at its usual 9pm ET / 6pm PT slot on Tuesday, September 12th, but a limited number of theaters will also screen the episode.
Tickets are free, but fans will need to get them on a first-come, first-serve basis at Gofobo. You’ll need to join a wait list at this point, as seats are extremely limited. The episode is only airing at 9 theaters, in cities like Boston, LA, NYC and Orlando.
At first, I thought this must mean that the next episode is something truly massive and epic, but it sounds like it’s just a midseason celebration. We shall see. Perhaps this is when Thrawn will finally appear and we’ll see a whole new galaxy unfold.

Ahsoka started off a bit rocky, but I enjoyed the latest episode quite a bit. The jury is still out, in other words. Hopefully this turns into a great Star Wars adventure—though, I admit to much skepticism following so many disappointments from Disney and Lucasfilm in recent years.
