Jung Kook Occupies Seven Of The Top 10 Spots On iTunes

News Room

Jung Kook released his new single, “3D,” on Friday, and a quick look at the iTunes chart of the bestselling songs in America reveals that the tune is off to an amazing start.

At the time of publishing, Jung Kook occupies an impressive seven spots inside the top 10 on iTunes’s ranking of the top-selling tracks in the country. Remarkably, all seven songs share the same title, “3D.” Seven different versions of “3D” are selling well enough to secure positions within the top 10—a sight rarely seen for even the biggest stars.

Leading the way is the single itself, “3D,” which features rapper Jack Harlow. The tune claims the No. 1 spot, one step ahead of an alternate version of the same track. Both takes, along with an instrumental version of the composition (down at No. 5), sit solidly within the top 10 and have maintained their space inside the arena for four days now.

New at No. 4 is a clean version of “3D,” offering listeners a different take on the hit. Spots seven through nine are filled by just-released remixes of the same track, which were grouped together into an EP. At No. 7, a reworking by producer A.G. Cook adds a fresh spin to the song. Newcomers at Nos. 8 and 9, respectively, are both a slowed-down and a sped-up version of the new single, offering fans a variety of musical experiences of Jung Kook’s latest.

Down at No. 30 is Jung Kook’s older solo smash, “Seven.”

“3D” serves as the second official single from Jung Kook’s forthcoming album, Golden. The full-length album was announced on October 3 and is scheduled to be released in November. “3D” follows in the extremely successful footsteps of the lead single, “Seven.” This track, which credited rapper Latto as a featured artist, debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 this summer and continues to make its presence felt on the charts.
