One of Williamsburg’s top takeout spots is moving into Manhattan.
Just in time for holiday shopping, Edith’s Sandwich Counter will open a limited time pop-up restaurant at Nordstrom NYC.
Launching on lower level 2, on Wednesday, November 1. Edith’s at Nordstrom NYC will highlight the restaurant’s most iconic items, including their famous Iced Café Slushie, made with cold brew, oat milk and tahini.
Additional menu items include sandwiches like the BEC&L, sandwiching a fluffy Japanese-style omelette with Cooper’s sharp American cheese, thick crispy bacon, a freshly fried latke, and special sauce served on the side; and The Edith, their namesake sandwich and twist on the classic Reuben made with 16-day house-smoked pastrami, kraut, Emmental cheese, and special sauce on seeded rye bread.
In addition to the classic Edith’s items, Nordstrom will also offer custom flavors of the Iced Café Slushie that you can only taste at the NYC flagship store. Custom flavors include Frozen Hot Chocolate and Black & White Cookie, and will only be available for a limited time.
“Edith’s couldn’t be more excited to partner with Nordstrom for this holiday season- bringing some Brooklyn energy to 57th and Broadway,” said Elyssa Heller, founder of Edith’s. “Both Edith’s and Nordstrom share in the dedication to providing our customers with high-touch unique products, experiences and the spirit of tikkun olam, which means, leaving the world a better place than when you found it. So when we decided to join forces for the holiday season, we knew it would be something special.”
Across lower level two (also known for selling children’s apparel), Edith’s will make an impression at additional Nordstrom NYC eateries. Edith’s 16-day house-smoked pastrami will debut on Jeannie’s menu and at Burger Bar. For the duration of the Edith’s pop-up, customers can order pastrami as a topping on their burger at Burger Bar or order The Edith any time of day at Jeannie’s. Edith’s hand-twisted bagels will be sold at Coffee Bar and can choose from plain, sesame, and Chicago-style everything.
Edith’s residency at Nordstrom will run through January 3, 2024.
