‘Escape From Tarkov’ Players Can’t Find Salewa Kits, Here’s How

News Room

Once again Escape From Tarkov players are struggling to find Salewa first aid kits for the Shortage quest following the new wipe and update, but if you know where to look they can be fairly easy to find.

Almost every Tarkov player has struggled to find the required three Salewas for the Shortage task over the years, and it seems that more players than ever are struggling with the new wipe that introduced a new map specifically for new players. However this time you will need to complete a quest for Therapist on the new Ground Zero map before you can unlock the Shortage quest and search for Salewas.

Of course, sometimes it just comes down to luck and you might just not have any spawn in your raid for a while, but if you check the most common spots in every raid you should have your Salewa first aid kits in no time.

Where to find Salewa First Aid Kits

One of the best places to find Salewa first aid kits is on Woods, a map you have to go to early on for many different tasks. If you head to the USEC Camp area in the northwest of the map there are a number of possible spawn locations, including some medical supply boxes and loose medical items around the outside table area. You can also find more valuable items such as a LEDX Skin Transilluminator there. Of course, be sure not to walk into the mines on the other side of the camp.

Another popular location to find them is on Customs, specifically, the crack house area that has a lot of medical item spawns around the building. Be sure to check on the shelves upstairs, as that is a common spot for good medical loot. However, there are also multiple med boxes in the fortress area right in the middle of the map, which also makes it a good place to check if you can get in safely.

Of course, if you can run it, Streets of Tarkov is the best place to find Salewas for the Shortage quest, purely down to the amount of loot the map has. Being such a massive map you can easily do runs through Streets and not have to take a single PMC fight. You’ll find medical supplies all over the place and finding multiple Salewas in one run is entirely possible. Add in the fact that you can now send loot back to your stash with the new BTR without extracting, you can simply run to that as soon as you find one, make sure it gets out, and then continue looking for others.

Some players swear that Interchange is the best map to find Salewas early on, as fewer people will be looking for those items on the map. However, with the medical loot confined to just a couple of small areas, it is a risky play that could backfire easily.
