Tomorrow X Together’s new EP Minisode 3: Tomorrow has, unsurprisingly, become a huge hit on the Billboard charts upon its arrival. That’s par for the course when it comes to the South Korean superstars, who have also found a massive following in the United States. This latest win is important for the group, as it helps them make history on one of the most competitive tallies published every week.
Minisode 3: Tomorrow debuts at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. The EP launches in first place on Billboard’s ranking of the bestselling projects in the U.S. with 103,355 copies sold (according to Luminate)–and that number is actual purchases, not equivalent units, which include streams as well.
Tomorrow X Together has now reached the top 10 on the Top Album Sales chart with seven different projects. That’s one of the most impressive counts of placements inside the highest tier on this tally among South Korean artists, and this latest smash helps the boy band pull ahead of some of their closest competitors.
With a seventh top 10 now to their credit, Tomorrow X Together claims the second-most appearances inside the loftiest tier on the Top Album Sales chart among all South Korean artists. They trail behind only BTS, as that group has accrued 10 wins in that region.
Before Minisode 3: Tomorrow arrived, Tomorrow X Together was on the same level as two other South Korean superstars. With half a dozen Top Album Sales top 10s, they were matched with both Seventeen and Enhypen, but now TXT (for short) has surged forward.
Minisode 3: Tomorrow marks Tomorrow X Together’s sixth No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart. Thanks to this latest hit title, they’re now tied with BTS for the most leaders among all South Korean artists. Looking only at No. 1s, they were previously matched with Seventeen, with five, but that’s no longer the case.
