‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Debuts On 4K UHD, Blu-Ray And DVD This Week

Ryan Reynolds & Hugh Jackman’s blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine is new on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD this week with lots of bonus material.

According to The Numbers, Deadpool & Wolverine has grossed nearly $636.3 million domestically and $697.6 internationally for a worldwide box office gross of $1.333 billion to date—making it the second biggest film of the year worldwide after Inside Out 2.

The logline for the movie reads, “Deadpool (Reynolds) is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine (Jackman) to save his universe from extinction.”

Deadpool & Wolverine debuts on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday, October 22 and can be purchased online or in stores.

Amazon and Walmart currently have Deadpool & Wolverine for pre-order purchase online for $29.96 for the 4K + Blu-ray + Digital Code. The retailers also list the Blu-ray + Digital Code for $24.59 and the DVD for $19.96.

Target, meanwhile, has the 4K + Blu-ray + Digital Code version of Deadpool & Wolverine up for pre-order for $37.18, the Blu-ray + Digital Code for $31.77 and the DVD for $26.83.

In addition to the online ordering option, both Walmart and Target will sell the 4K, Blu-ray and DVD versions of Deadpool & Wolverine in stores.

What Bonus Features Are Included With The Disc Releases Of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’?

The 4K and DVD versions of Deadpool & Wolverine will have bonus features, while the DVD release of the film contains the movie only.

According to Marvel, the Deadpool & Wolverine 4K and Blu-ray releases will include a gag reel and three deleted scenes, titled Elevator Ride, Do Nothing and Daddy’s In Love.

In addition, the 4K and Blu-ray releases include the bonus featurettes Finding Madonna: Making the Oner, Practical Approach: Celebrating the Art of Ray Chan, Loose Ends: The Legacy Heroes and Wolverine.

Also, per Marvel, the releases also include a trio of Fun Sack bonus featurettes, which include:

“Dr. Deadpool – Dr. Deadpool, Ph.D. very kindly informs us of the risks of testicular cancer and tries to convince Hugh Jackman to do a live checkup.”

“Product Review – Deadpool shows off some toys and trinkets from the franchise, including one top-secret item that may or may not be a spoiler.”

Wade is Back – Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman promote a movie … but Ryan misleads Hugh on just exactly which movie they are there for.”

The 4K and Blu-ray releases also include an audio commentary track featuring director/co-writer/producer Shawn Levy and actor/co-writer/producer Ryan Reynolds.

Marvel noted that two different SteelBooks of Deadpool & Wolverine will be released that feature different artwork, as well as a special edition Blu-ray exclusive to Walmart that includes a Deadpool Corps pop-up card inside the case.

Rated R, Deadpool & Wolverine—which is still playing in theaters and available on digital streaming via premium video on demand—will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday.
