Throughout the year, Amazon capitalizes on its influencer network to sell products and promote sales, especially during Prime Day. The e-commerce giant offers a variety of content creation and monetization tools for influencers, including its live video streaming platform, Amazon Live.

Amazon launched the live-shopping feature for influencers in 2019, and works with creators across several content categories, like fashion, home, beauty, and tech. The program pays based on a commission model, and creators who are accepted into Amazon’s influencer program earn a commission when someone purchases a product with their personalized link. 

Although the tool has sometimes struggled to build an audience, there are some creators who have found success, like Tamara Bradshaw who told Insider she built a six-figure income by livestreaming.

But who are the biggest creators?

The influencer-marketing firm Captiv8 ran a recent analysis studying the top Amazon Live creators. To collect this data, Captiv8 analyzed total follower count across all platforms, average daily engagement rate, audience on Amazon, and brand affinity — or connection and loyalty to a brand.

Here are the top 10 influencers on Amazon Live, according to data from Captiv8:

  • Total followers: 42.99 million
  • Average daily engagement rate: 0.52%
  • Audience’s Amazon brand affinity: 69%

2. Makho Ndlovu

  • Total followers: 30.77 million
  • Average daily engagement rate: 3.33%
  • Audience’s Amazon brand affinity: 95%

3. Emile Ennis Jr

  • Total followers: 12.148 million
  • Average daily engagement rate: 0.03%
  • Audience’s Amazon brand affinity: 88%

4. Porsha Williams

  • Total followers: 10.94 million
  • Average daily engagement rate: 1.58%
