All Four Members Of Blackpink Have Now Charted Top 10 Hits On Billboard’s Global Chart

News Room

Blackpink’s Jennie has become the fourth and final member of the South Korean girl group to chart a top 10 hit on the Billboard Global 200. The weekly tally ranks the most-consumed tracks in the world, and this week, Jennie counts one of the biggest wins on the list.

Jennie’s new single on her own, “You & Me,” debuts at No. 7 on the Global 200. Billboard didn’t provide a sales sum, but the title amassed an impressive 65.1 million streams worldwide in its debut tracking frame. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Jennie’s career, as it’s her first top 10—and entry—on the chart.

Jennie last released a solo song, “Solo,” years before the introduction of the Billboard Global 200. She was the first member of the quartet to go solo, and she waited years in between her releases.

All four members of Blackpink have now secured top 10 hits on the Billboard Global 200. In fact, the solo members have now collectively scored more top 10 placements on the tally than the band itself. On their own, they have charted five wins, while Blackpink has thus far sent four tunes into the highest tier on the tally.

Lisa, one of Blackpink’s members, has notched two solo top 10 hits on the Billboard Global 200. “Lalisa” peaked at No. 2 in 2021. Not long after that smash, she returned to the highest tier, with “Money.” That cut rose to No. 10, making her the only one of the four singers in the group to break into the region more than once.

Rosé made history as the first solo singer among the four members to hit No. 1, and she remains one of the only South Korean soloists to top the tally. Her single “On the Ground” debuted at No. 1 in March 2021—a monumental accomplishment for both her and the group as a whole.

Jisoo, the fourth member of Blackpink, also entered the top 10 on the Billboard Global 200 with her solo track, “Flower.” That cut bloomed quickly and peaked at No. 2 in April of this year.

As a group, Blackpink has notched a total of four top 10 hits on the Billboard Global 200. That sum includes chart-rulers like as “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down,” both of which reached No. 1 in 2022.
