BTS’s Jung Kook Leads Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series

Good Morning America has announced the highly-anticipated return of its summer concert series. This annual event, which has become a staple of morning television during the summer months, is set to launch on Friday, July 14. While the series may be starting a little later than usual this year, fans are ecstatic to have it back.

The Good Morning America summer concert series has always been known for its incredible lineup of performers, and this year is no exception. The concerts will be held in two locations: New York City’s Central Park and Good Morning America’s Times Square studio, depending on the performer. Fans from all over the country will have the opportunity to witness these amazing performances either on TV or in person, if they can get in.

All performances will be aired between 7:00 to 9:00 AM EST during the Good Morning America broadcast. There will be additional performances later in the day on GMA3: What You Need to Know at 1:00 PM EST. This allows fans who couldn’t catch the live show in the morning to still enjoy the performances.

Kicking off this year’s series is none other than Jung Kook, a member of the globally renowned K-pop group BTS. Jung Kook will take the stage on Friday, July 14, where he will perform his upcoming solo single “Seven,” likely for the first time.

In addition to Jung Kook, the Good Morning America summer concert series boasts an impressive lineup of talented artists for its 2023 run. On July 28, fans can look forward to a vibrant performance by Fitz and The Tantrums. On August 10, the multi-talented Carly Rae Jepsen will grace the stage, followed by the soulful and captivating Hozier on August 18. As the summer rolls on, country music fans can mark their calendars for Tim McGraw’s performance on August 25 and Sam Hunt’s on September 1.

This year’s summer concert series will also feature a special celebration of the fiftieth year of hip-hop. This milestone event will include performances by iconic artists such as Fat Joe and Remy Ma, as well as the legendary Busta Rhymes and rising star Bia.
