For the past two months, Jung Kook has been ruling Billboard’s worldwide chart with an iron fist. Despite challenges from some of the biggest stars in the music industry, he has refused to give up control of the top spot…until now. But while the BTS singer may no longer claim the No. 1 track on the planet, he is still riding high.
This week, Jung Kook and Latto’s “Seven” is finally forced out of the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Global 200. As “Seven” keeps going on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, the single continues to make history. With eight weeks at No. 1 to its credit, the smash is now one of only nine songs to live in first place as long as it has. Whether it will be able to continue to add to that sum is yet to be seen, as it faces tough competition, especially from Cat’s “Paint the Town Red,” but Jung Kook and Latto make a formidable team.
