The sci-fi movie hit Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire has frozen out most of its competition in its Netflix debut.
A sequel to the 2021 hit Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire finds Gary Grooberson (Paul Rudd) and the Spengler family—Callie (Carrie Coon), Phoebe (Mckenna Grace) and Trevor (Finn Wolfhard)—taking up the mantle of the original Ghostbusters in New York City.
The new Ghostbusters team needs to call the original team—Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) and Winston Zeddemore (Ernie Hudson)—back into action, though, when an ominous evil spirit, Garraka, is freed from an mysterious orb and threatens to plunge the city into a new ice age.
