This special rendition of the song is a collaboration with three other musical legends: Dolly Parton, Peter Frampton, and Mick Fleetwood. The collective effort brings a fresh twist to the beloved track, resonating with fans old and new. This collaborative rendition of “Let It Be” claims the No. 3 spot on the list.
The Hot Trending Songs chart, introduced by Billboard in recent years, is a weekly ranking that tracks the songs that generate the most discussion on Twitter, now referred to as X…by some. The chart’s inception relatively recently has allowed for esteemed artists, like McCartney and Starr, to appear on it despite potentially not having a significant social media presence or being commonly discussed topics. “Let It Be,” the reimagined classic, claims an impressive position on the chart, settling in just behind two other tracks that have also captured the attention of listeners worldwide. The No. 1 spot is held by Selena Gomez’s hit “Single Soon,” a tune that’s not even out yet. Jon Batiste and Lil Wayne’s “Uneasy” scores the No. 2 spot.

Parton, the visionary behind the collaboration, brought together McCartney, Starr, Fleetwood, and Frampton to breathe new life into “Let It Be,” which will be featured on Parton’s upcoming album Rockstar. The country legend decided to embark on this ambitious project after her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a recognition that even she fought initially.
