Hailing from Spanish Town, Jamaica, Spice began her artistic journey at the tender age of fourteen, eventually emerging as a dancehall superstar in the early 2000s.
Reflecting on her humble beginnings, Spice states, “My slogan right now is ‘from homeless to greatness.'”
Her upbringing involved residing in a one-bedroom house with her five siblings until it tragically succumbed to a fire.
She recounts the arduous journey, saying, “I had nothing. I come from $0. I know what it’s like to look in my bank account, and there’s nothing there and now I’m a millionaire,” says Spice.
Spice’s present position symbolizes her journey towards breaking the cycle of financial scarcity and creating generational wealth.
Beyond being a captivating performer, Spice possesses a diverse skill set including acting, entrepreneurship, and real estate investment.
Recently, Spice has garnered attention for her participation in the reality TV show, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Despite the show’s inclination towards drama, she embraces the responsibility of her involvement saying she “knows what she signed up for.”
Even when subjected to a racial slur on the show, Spice confidently asserts that her character cannot be defined by others’ opinions.
“I have my peace of mind, nobody takes my peace of mind away from me…I’m black and beautiful.” says Spice.
