The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards—the SAG Awards for short—will wrap up an awards-filled weekend in Los Angeles. What time do they start and where will they be streaming?
The SAG Awards are presented by SAG-AFTRA. Wicked leads the 2025 SAG Awards film nominations going into the ceremony including nods for Outstanding Acting Ensemble for a Motion Picture, Outstanding Female Actor in a Lead Role for Cynthia Erivo, Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role for Ariana Grande and Outstanding Male Actor in a Supporting Role for Jonathan Bailey.
Additionally, Wicked was nominated for Outstanding Stunt Ensemble.
A Complete Unknown, Anora and Emilia Pérez received three nominations each. Along with Wicked, A Complete Unknown, Anora, Emilia Pérez and Conclave are competing for the Outstanding Acting Ensemble for a Motion Picture SAG Award.
The 2025 SAG Awards will begin Sunday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. and stream live exclusively on Netflix from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. You must be a Netflix subscriber to watch the SAG Awards on the streaming platform.
Joining Erivo in the nominations for Outstanding Female Actor in a Leading Role are Karla Sofía Gascón for Emilia Pérez, Pamela Anderson for The Last Showgirl, Mikey Madison for Anora and Demi Moore for The Substance.
Gascón, who has been embroiled in a scandal over the past few weeks when a series of offensive tweets that she posted was discovered, will not be attending the SAG Awards ceremony but is planning on being at the 2025 Oscars, according to The Daily Mail.
In the Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role category, Grande is taking on Monica Barbaro for A Complete Unknown, Jamie Lee Curtis for The Last Showgirl, Danielle Deadwyler for The Piano Lesson and Zoe Saldaña for Emilia Pérez.
The performers in the running for the Outstanding Male Actor in a Leading Role in the Motion Picture category are Adrien Brody for The Brutalist, Timothée Chalamet for A Complete Unknown, Daniel Craig for Queer, Colman Domingo for Sing Sing and Ralph Fiennes for Conclave.
In addition to Bailey, the performers vying for the Outstanding Male Actor in a Supporting Role are Yura Borisov for Anora, Kieran Culkin for A Real Pain, Edward Norton for A Complete Unknown and Jeremy Strong for The Apprentice.
Shōgun—which has already dominated the Emmys, Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, leads the SAG Award nominations with five nods. Shōgun is up for SAG Awards for Outstanding Ensemble in a Drama Series, Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series for Tadanobu Asano and Hiroyuki Sanada, Outstanding Female Actor in Drama Series for Anna Sawai and Outstanding Stunt Ensemble.
Another multiple Emmy winner—The Bear—is the second-most nominated series for the 2025 SAG Awards with four nods. The Bear is up for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Male Actor in a Comedy Series for Jeremy Allen White and Outstanding Female Actor in a Comedy Series for Ayo Edebiri and Liza Colón-Zayas.

The 2025 SAG Awards—which marks the 31st annual celebration of the organization—will be hosted by actor Kristen Bell. Nine-time SAG Award winner Julia Louis Dreyfus will also be on hand to present Oscar-winning actor, author and activist Jane Fonda with the SAG Life Achievement Award.

The Screen Actors Guild announced in a press release on Thursday that more than three dozen actors will be presenters at the 2025 SAG Awards.
Among the presenters are Ariana Grande, Ayo Edebiri, Bowen Yang, Colin Farrell, Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, David Duchovny, Drew Starkey, Edward Norton, Elle Fanning, Fran Drescher, Gillian Anderson, Harrison Ford, Isabella Rossellini, Jack Quaid, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jessica Williams.
