Amazon Associates Must Return To Central Offices

employees must move to centralized offices joining other members of their team. While the main hub varies by team, it reduces the multiple locations that teams are spread out now. Certainly Seattle, New York or Arlington, Va. are hubs that Amazon wants to populate with more staff.

The Information, Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal published the new policy. It is a fact that Amazon has asked its employees to work at least three days per week in the office since May 1. It is noted that some employees currently go to offices where none of their team members are located, and others have been given permission to keep working remotely indefinitely.

Amazon managers are said to have warned employees who do not want to relocate to another city that they will have to transfer to a new team within Amazon. Otherwise, their refusal to move will be considered a “voluntary resignation”, according to reports by insiders.
