To drive even more business during these two days, Amazon is posting suggestions on how to get the best deals. Recommendations include:
1. Request Access now for Doorbuster Deals. Amazon’s Prime program has 14 deals and tips to start your holiday shopping. The Big Deals are exclusive for Prime members. Purchases must be completed by the end of the Prime Day event. Deals include 50% off Sony Dolby Atmos/DTS:X Soundbar HT-X8500 2.1ch, 46% off Philips 3000 Series Air Fryers, 60% off Blink Smart Home Security systems, 55% off Jabra Ellis 7 Active True Wireless Earbuds, and many more.
2. Explore Delivery Options. With prime membership, you can rely on fast, free delivery. In addition, you can choose from delivery options. Same day delivery is available in 90 metro areas. Alternatively, delivery to a nearby Amazon locker is available. You can also determine the delivery day.
3. Set Up Personal Deal Alerts. Subscribe to receive notifications related to recent Amazon searches and recently viewed items. All you have to do is visit the Amazon shopping app between now and Prime Day to create deal alerts. Once Prime Day arrives, you will receive notifications on available deals.
4. Use Alexa to Track Deals. Get deal notifications from Alexa up to 24 hours in advance on eligible items. Or save for later use and even add an item to your wish list.
5. Save the Date with Alexa. Free up your calendar and have Alexa set up an event reminder for you. (You have to have an Alexa!)
6. Shop with Confidence. Customers can shop with peace of mind knowing Amazon stands behind products sold with the A-Z Guarantee,. Amazon protection applies to products purchased in its stores or on-line worldwide.
The company urges everyone to become a Prime member in order to enjoy all these benefits. Membership is $14.99 per month or $139.00 per year. Students can try a Prime Student offer for a six-month period for $7.49 per month. In addition, qualifying government assistance recipients can get Prime Access for $6.99 per month.
