Biden administration to cancel $37 million in debt for borrowers who attended the University of Phoenix

More than 1,200 student-loan borrowers who attended the University of Phoenix will have nearly $37 million in student debt canceled, the Department of Education announced Wednesday. 

The announcement impacts borrowers who attended the University of Phoenix, the for-profit college giant, between September 21, 2012 and December 31, 2014, the Department said.
