J. Lo persists at trying to unload her NYC penthouse—this time for just under $25 million

Jennifer Lopez is going to market yet again!

The talented entertainer is still struggling with the sale of her fabulous New York City penthouse.

This property has been on and off the market since 2017, when Lopez listed it for nearly $27 million.

She bought the apartment in 2014 for just over $20 million and has put it up for sale time and again, usually for around $25 million.

This time, even with a very slight price cut (it’s now $24,990,000), the duplex penthouse is still one of the most expensive homes for sale this week on Realtor.com®.

Curious about the details? Here’s a look at what “Jenny From The Block” is still trying to leave behind.

Lavish living quarters

The penthouse condo is in a building formerly known as the Whitman Mansion. And at nearly a century old, it’s brimming with history. Lovely prewar details shine in this four-bedroom, 7.5-bath duplex apartment. With Georgian architecture and stone carvings outside and soaring ceilings and arched windows inside, it’s a real showstopper.

Inside and out, the home’s living spaces exceed 9,500 square feet. The place has four terraces that offer views of Madison Square Park and the iconic structures (Flatiron Building, Met Life Clock Tower) that surround it. Southern light floods the pretty living room, adjacent to a top-notch kitchen with marble counters, Miele appliances, a wine fridge, white lacquer cabinets, and a gorgeous island for seating and serving.

The primary bedroom suite is the epitome of luxury, thanks to the two separate bathrooms, two terraces, and a huge dressing room with equally large closets.

With just four units in the white-glove building, privacy and quiet are practically guaranteed. Amenities include a 24-hour door attendant, secure storage, and a key-activated elevator.

Lopez, who starred in the popular 2019 movie “Hustlers,” might be keen to shed this property as she spends much of her time on the West Coast with new husband Ben Affleck. And when she’s back on the East Coast, she can always retreat to her Hamptons estate.

A version of this story was published on Realtor.com, a real estate and rentals site. In addition to homes for sale, you can find rentals like Scottsdale apartments, Austin apartments, Tampa apartments and more.
