Apple has announced a “Scary Fast” event taking place the day before Halloween where new Mac products are likely to be revealed.

The iPhone company sent out press invites Tuesday for an event taking place October 30. The event is expected to center on new Mac computers, according to recent reports, and an animation on Apple’s website seemingly confirms this by showing the Apple logo transforming into the Mac’s Finder icon.

“Scary Fast” is slated for 5 p.m. PT, considerably later than the company’s usual product events, which typically kick off at 10 a.m. PT. Any new Macs could include the new M3 silicon chip. Apple introduced its most recent chip, the M2, in June 2022.

“Scary Fast” follows Apple’s annual fall keynote last month, where CEO Tim Cook unveiled the new iPhone 15 lineup, as well as new Apple Watches and a switch to USB-C charging in its newest phones.
